The winery is surrounded by just under 100 acres of estate vineyards, all planted with Tempranillo. Maceration is bought to an end when the wine is deemed to be of a sufficiently good structure, at around 22-28 days. Once racked, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation before being aged in oak barrels for 17 months. Complex and spicy wine with deep, rich and ripe fruits intermingled with notes of licorice and nuts. As with all the Valdubón wines they carry good acidity, rich and ripe tannins with excellent evolution and intense finish.
