Marlborough has become world-famous for the quality of its white wines and is increasingly becoming noted for its reds too. The notoriously choosy Pinot Noir has found an ideal home here in the Wairau and Awatere Valleys from where the fruit for this wine is sourced. After a classical fermentation, the wine is transferred to French oak barriques for ten months. A wine with rich berry-fruit aromas and flavours mingling with subtle oak.
