The Refosco grape has been cultivated in this area for centuries. Hand-harvested from Fantinel?s own vineyards, a portion of which are left to dry on straw mats. After a submerged-cap maceration the wine is aged in large Allier and Slavonian oak barrels. Showing intense aromas of developed forest fruits with a note of bitter spice on the rich, lingering finish.
