The best Primitivo grapes are hand-selected from old vines, grown in the heart of the Manduria region, to make this full-bodied wine. After a controlled fermentation, the wine is aged in a mixture of French and American barriques for at least 10 months, prior to final blending and bottling. It has a rounded palate with a bouquet reminiscent of wild berries and notes of caramel. The finish is smooth and rich with ripe fruit flavours appearing alongside spicy aromatic notes.
